Responsibilities
Role purpose
The technical authority on Toyota and Lexus servicing across the dual-brand operation. Performs advanced diagnostics (Techstream, GTS+), handles major repairs (engine, transmission, hybrid HV systems, 4x4 drivetrain), and leads 4x4 build jobs. Quality-checks work performed by junior technicians. Mentors the team on TOM'S install procedures and Toyota / Lexus platform deep-dives.
Key responsibilities
- Advanced diagnostics on Toyota and Lexus platforms — ICE, hybrid and EV — using Techstream / GTS+ as primary tools.
- Lead major mechanical work: engine management, transmission, hybrid HV systems (where certified), 4x4 drivetrain and differentials.
- Lead 4x4 build jobs on Land Cruiser, Hilux, Fortuner — lifts, bumpers, lockers, snorkels, electricals.
- Support the Performance Technician on TOM'S, HKS and other premium aftermarket installs.
- Quality-check work done by the Junior Technicians before customer release.
- Help on race-prep weeks when the workshop needs an extra senior pair of hands.
- Mentor the Junior Technicians; contribute to SOPs and inspection checklists.

Qualifications
Who we're looking for
Required experience and qualifications
• Master technician certification on Toyota (and ideally Lexus). OR equivalent demonstrated experience (e.g., 8+ years on Toyota platforms with master-equivalent depth).
• 8+ years of hands-on experience including hybrid and 4x4 work.
• Strong electrical and electronic diagnostic ability — comfortable reading wiring diagrams and chasing CAN / LIN faults.
• Clean driving licence and impeccable record handling premium / customer cars.
• Thai native; functional English for manuals, software and parts platforms.
Strongly preferred
• TOM'S, HKS or other Japanese tuning experience.
• Motorsport / track-day workshop background.
• Working competence on at least one European premium platform.
• Experience with hybrid HV system service (specific Toyota training).
Behavioural standards
• 100% honesty with customers about work, time, and recommendations — the cultural non-negotiable.

• Calm, professional and respectful with teammates; addresses team issues privately, not in front of customers.

Thai market specifics
• Working hours: Monday–Saturday, 9:00–18:00 standard. Sundays closed except during race-team event weeks when trackside support may be required (with notice + premium pay).
• Social Security Office (SSO) registration on Day 1; provident fund participation after probation; group health insurance after probation.
• Probation period: 119 days (standard Thai labour practice) with formal review before confirmation.
• Thai language: native or near-native fluency required for customer-facing roles. English: working level for technical roles (reading manuals, scan-tool software, parts platforms); conversational for customer-facing roles.
• Annual leave: minimum 6 days (statutory) but we offer more for senior roles — confirmed in offer letter.
• Working hours Mon-Sat 9-18; race weekends may add Sunday support 4-6 times per

เงื่อนไขการทำงานในไทย
- วันและเวลาทำงาน: จันทร์–เสาร์ 09:00–18:00 น. วันอาทิตย์หยุด ยกเว้นช่วงที่ทีมแข่งมีกิจกรรมที่สนาม (แจ้งล่วงหน้า + ค่าตอบแทนพิเศษ) สัปดาห์แข่งรถอาจต้องสนับสนุนวันอาทิตย์ประมาณ 4–6 ครั้งต่อปี
- ประกันสังคม: ขึ้นทะเบียนวันแรกที่เริ่มงาน, กองทุนสำรองเลี้ยงชีพและประกันสุขภาพกลุ่มหลังผ่านช่วงทดลองงาน
- ทดลองงาน: 119 วัน ตามมาตรฐานกฎหมายแรงงานไทย มีการประเมินผลอย่างเป็นทางการก่อนรับเป็นพนักงานประจำ
- ภาษา: ภาษาไทยระดับเจ้าของภาษา ภาษาอังกฤษระดับใช้งานสำหรับงานเทคนิค

Japan distributor and service centre for Toyota and Lexus performance vehicles. AXIS Motorsports is the multi-brand performance shop and home of the in-house race team and project-car build house. Both brands operate from a shared facility at Ramintra (Khan Na Yao). The group is launching a build-from-current operation that elevates AXIS's existing 4-year base and adds the new TOM's Racing sister brand. Phase-1 launch team is 16 positions including 4 retained existing AXIS technical staff.
