Production Supervisor (Section Chief) - บริษัท โซนี่ ดีไวซ์ เทคโนโลยี (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด

• Operations Management & Policy Planning : Define and deploy section-level policies aligned with company production strategy; translate directives into structured Action Plans with clear ownership, set section KPIs, conduct performance reviews with structured feedback, and maintain Succession Plans to build a pipeline of high-potential talent.
• Manpower Management : Plan monthly and annual headcount requirements to meet production targets; control working hours and attendance discipline while developing OJT plans, qualification tests, and Skill Development Plans to sustain a competent, multi-skilled workforce.
• Machine & Equipment Management : Plan and review machinery requirements relative to production volume; drive equipment efficiency improvement initiatives, manage machine layout planning, and oversee Tooling inventory control to maximize uptime and operational continuity.
• Material Management : Plan and control material consumption and procurement to ensure uninterrupted production supply; manage elimination of expired or unplanned materials and implement waste reduction initiatives to minimize material loss.
• Production Equipment (Tools & Jigs) Management : Plan, review, and manage procurement of production tools and jigs to maintain adequate inventory levels for sustained operational continuity.
• Quality Management : Define section quality targets, lead RCA investigations for non-conformances, deploy corrective actions, and prepare quality performance reports for management review in compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Budget & Cost Management : Plan and control monthly and annual section OPEX against approved budget; analyze cost variances, develop and execute cost reduction plans, and present data-supported financial performance reports to Department Manager.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement : Drive improvement initiatives to reduce process steps, cycle time, human error, and defect rates; implement productivity improvement projects and support section and departmental innovation and quality improvement programs.
• General & Compliance : Execute management directives, actively support company activities, and ensure full compliance with company Work Standards and all HSE and Quality Management System requirements.

• Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5-6 years of experience in a semiconductor, electronics, or precision manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role managing production teams.
• Demonstrated competency in budget planning and cost control — including monthly/annual OPEX management, variance analysis, and cost reduction execution.
• Proven ability to set KPIs, conduct structured performance reviews, and develop Skill Development Plans for subordinate Supervisors and Team Leaders.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality management system requirements as applied in a production environment.
• Intermediate English proficiency — capable of producing written management reports and communicating with Japanese HQ counterparts.

Nice-to-Have (Advantage):

• Experience in semiconductor assembly or Electronics manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies — Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping; Six Sigma Green Belt or above is a plus.
• TOEIC 550+ or JLPT N4+ — given direct coordination with Japanese engineers and management from Sony Semiconductor Solutions HQ.
• Proficiency in data tools — Excel (VBA/Macros) or Power BI — for budget tracking, manpower planning, and production performance reporting.
• Experience with Succession Planning or talent pipeline development within a structured Japanese MNC environment.

Working Conditions & Environment:

• This role is based at Bangkadi Industrial Park, Pathum Thani, Thailand. Please be advised that no relocation support is provided. Candidates are expected to be able to commute to this location.
• This is a full-time, 100% onsite role based at our factory in Bang Kadi, Pathum Thani.
• This position will be expected to enter cleanroom areas on a frequent basis whenever necessary to ensure production continuity and quality.
• Occasional overtime may be required to meet build schedules or support urgent production activities.
