Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities: Position - General Ledger Manager
• Manage and maintain the general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate, complete, and in line with Thai accounting standards.
• Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and approval processes are followed.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts with sub-ledgers and supporting documents.
• Prepare and submit accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
• Prepare and handle all tax filings, including VAT, withholding tax, personal income tax (PIT), and corporate income tax (CIT), ensuring timely submission and full compliance with Thai tax regulations.
• Process and manage general expense payments, including preparation of payment vouchers, verification of supporting documents, and coordination with relevant departments to ensure timely and accurate disbursements in accordance with company policy and approval authority limits.
• Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Oversee fixed asset management, including asset registration, depreciation calculations, and regular asset counts.
• Continuously review and improve internal controls to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
• Stay up to date with changes in Thai accounting standards and tax regulations, and provide advice to management on necessary adjustments.
Qualifications
Requirements:
• Working Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in general ledger accounting and tax accounting, preferably in a multinational environment
• Age 30-45
• Thai Nationality only
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in Manufacturing Services is a plus
• Strong knowledge of Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS) and Thai tax laws and regulations
• Familiarity with local tax filing processes (VAT, withholding tax, corporate tax, personal income tax)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus
• Experience with closing financial statement by yourself
• Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, able to meet deadlines
• Strong communication and coordination skills, able to work with internal teams, auditors, and tax authorities
• Proactive, responsible, and self-motivated
• Proficiency in Chinese and Thai, or Thai and English
• Strong proficiency in both Chinese and Thai will be given
