Mechanical Engineer - *Chinese Speaking * (Base in Thailand) - BHS Corrugated Singapore Pte. Ltd.

OBJECTIVE/SUMMARY

The main objectives and purposes for the job’s description are intended to provide an understanding of its role responsibilities within BHS_AP and to maintain high standards of business practice. The employee is expected to carry out other duties commensurate with the position. This job description may be altered from time to time to meet the changing needs of the company.

DUTIES AND RESPONISBILITIES

1.           Provide mechanical services of BHS products including but not limited to installation, repairing, upgrading, maintenance, machine relocation, performance improvement according to level 1 internal qualification

2.           Work under supervision at customer site in assigned machines sections

3.           Communicate clearly with customers and internal stakeholders

4.           Advice and train customers regarding operation, maintenance and mechanical spare parts knowledge

5.           Support spare parts specialist to ensure only correct parts are delivered to customers

6.           Support products promotion activities (reference plant tour, show etc.)

7.           Prepare for detailed report according to department requirement

8.           Support to test new function or improve quality of BHS products

9.           Installation, commissioning, and service for BDS machines

10.     Willingness to learn about new equipment and provide the required service

11.     Attend company, departmental meetings, trainings as per request from supervisor or manager

12.     Regular visit customer to build and maintain good relationship

13.     Other duty and tasks work assigned by supervisor

REQUIREMENTS

1.           Mechanical technician qualification, major in mechanical engineering

2.           Working experiences at a similar position and with field experience of installation/ maintenance/ troubleshooting to heavy duty machines in multi-national company is an advantage

3.           Read and understand technical drawings, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, steam systems and plant layouts

4.           Willing to work weekends and travel frequently

5.           Preferably experienced in the Corrugated, Paper, Print or Packaging related industry

6.           Be able to work under pressure, committed, dedicated and conscientious.

7.           Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization

8.           Good communication in English

9.           Ability to speak and understand Chinese is mandatory to communicate with Chinese customers in Thailand

10.           Must be proficient in using Microsoft (outlook, word, excel, etc), SAP experience is an advantage

11.           Ability to work independent, open-mined and respect teamwork

12.           Strictly follow-up and respect company’s EHS policies
