Commissioning Manager - English or Chinese Speaking - บริษัท ซีเอชอีซี (ไทย) จำกัด

The Commissioning Manager will lead, organize, and execute the comprehensive testing and 

commissioning strategy for all mission-critical infrastructure across our data center portfolio. 

You will serve as the final authority on system readiness, driving the project through strict Level 

1 (Factory Testing) to Level 5 (Integrated Systems Testing) protocols to ensure 100% uptime 

reliability before the facility goes live. 

1. Commissioning Strategy & Scripting 

• Master Cx Plan: Develop, review, and approve the project-specific Master 

Commissioning Plan, ensuring alignment with owner project requirements (OPR) and 

basis of design (BOD). 

• Script Writing & Approval: Author and validate highly detailed, step-by-step testing 

scripts for Level 4 (Functional Performance Testing) and Level 5 (Integrated Systems 

Testing). 

• Failure Mode Testing: Design specific "blackout" and component-failure scenarios 

(e.g., sudden loss of utility power, generator failure to start, chiller loop isolation) to test 

system redundancy and automated failovers. 

2. Execution & Execution Oversight (Level 1–5) 

• Vendor Coordination: Direct third-party commissioning agents (CxA), equipment 

vendors, and MEP contractors to ensure execution schedules align perfectly with the 

construction critical path. 

• Level 4 (FPT): Oversee individual system testing, including load bank testing of UPS 

systems and generators, hydrostatic testing of cooling loops, and point-to-point validation 

of BMS/EPMS controls. 

• Level 5 (IST): Lead the execution of the Integrated Systems Testing. Serve as the central 

commander on the floor during full-load heat load testing (using server 

simulators/thermal blocks) to validate the entire ecosystem under peak load. 

3. Issue Management & Quality Assurance 

• De-snagging & Field Logs: Maintain and manage the master commissioning issue log. 

Categorize deficiencies by severity and drive prompt resolution with contractors. 

• Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Lead technical investigations into equipment failures or 

unexpected system behaviors during energized testing phases. 

• Documentation Management: Compile, review, and organize all final commissioning 

reports, factory test data, certified scripts, and O&M documentation for asset handover. 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent 

military/field experience in critical power environments (e.g., Navy Nuclear program). 

• Experience: Minimum of 6–8 years in commissioning or technical QA/QC, with at least 

4 years acting as a Lead Commissioning Manager on Tier III/IV data center projects 

or massive industrial infrastructure. 

• Certifications (Highly Preferred): Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP), 

Certified Data Center Design Professional (CDCP), or equivalents from ASHRAE / 

BCA. 

• Technical Expertise: 

o Deep understanding of electrical topologies (ATS, Switchgear, dynamic and static 

UPS, Scada/EPMS). 

o Deep understanding of mechanical topologies (Chilled water plants, CRAHs, fan 

walls, controls loop tuning, psychrometrics). 

• Command Presence: Ability to take total control of a testing floor with dozens of 

vendors, ensuring safety and sequence discipline during high-voltage and high

temperature testing. 

• Analytical Diagnostic Skills: Exceptional capability to read complex electrical single

line diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and control sequences to 

catch logical flaws before they manifest as physical failures.
