Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor all construction activities on bridges and road projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, drawings, and construction standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed reports on construction progress, quality, and any issues requiring attention.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols and regulatory requirements on site at all times.
- Manage and coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
- Review and verify material quality, testing results, and compliance documentation prior to approval.
- Communicate technical requirements and project updates effectively to the project management team and international stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, material documentation, and photographic evidence of construction progress.
- Identify and resolve construction challenges, proposing practical engineering solutions in liaison with senior engineers.
- Support quality assurance activities and coordinate any necessary remedial works.
- Liaise with relevant authorities and government agencies as required for permits and approvals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- A minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in bridges and/or road construction site engineering
- Proficiency in English or Chinese (written and spoken)
- Proven experience in site supervision, quality control, and material testing for civil engineering projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and industry standards relevant to bridge and road infrastructure
- Competency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Experience with site documentation, record-keeping, and reporting systems
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound technical decisions under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- Relevant professional certifications or memberships with engineering institutions are advantageous.
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects in Thailand or Southeast Asia is preferred.
