Marine Surveyor / Surveyor -- (Rayong) English or Chinese Speaking - บริษัท ซีเอชอีซี (ไทย) จำกัด

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform surveying works for marine construction, jetty, port, piling, and related civil works.
2. Establish and verify survey control points, benchmarks, coordinates, elevations, alignments, and construction reference points.
3. Carry out setting-out works for steel pipe piles, jetty structures, marine structures, concrete works, temporary works, and other project components.
4. Check and monitor pile locations, pile alignment, pile position, elevation, and installation accuracy during construction.
5. Conduct level surveys, coordinate surveys, as-built surveys, and dimensional checks to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
6. Operate surveying equipment such as:

·         Total Station

·         Auto Level / Digital Level

·         GPS / GNSS equipment

·         Other surveying instruments as required

1. Prepare survey records, survey reports, as-built survey data, coordinate tables, and related technical documentation.
2. Review construction drawings, coordinates, elevations, and survey requirements before commencing work.
3. Coordinate with Site Engineers, Construction Engineers, Technical Engineers, QC Engineers, subcontractors, and construction teams regarding survey activities.
4. Support marine piling works, including setting-out and verification of steel pipe pile positions before, during, and after pile installation.
5. Monitor construction tolerances and immediately report any deviation or discrepancy to the responsible engineer.
6. Maintain and protect surveying instruments, calibration records, benchmarks, control points, and survey reference systems.
7. Ensure all survey activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, project specifications, and safety requirements.
8. Perform other survey-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager, Construction Manager, or responsible Engineer.

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or related field.
• Experience in construction surveying is required.
• Experience in Marine Construction, Jetty, Port, Steel Pipe Piling, Offshore, or Coastal Construction will be an advantage.
• Able to operate Total Station, Auto Level, GPS/GNSS, and other surveying equipment.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings, coordinates, elevations, and technical documents.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Able to prepare survey records and reports.
• Able to work at marine construction sites, including jetty, barge, or offshore working areas.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Able to work under site conditions and follow project safety requirements.
