Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Materials Manager in managing procurement activities for the lake-crossing bridge construction project.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for construction materials, equipment, and services.
- Prepare RFQs, compare quotations, draft procurement contracts, and issue purchase orders.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure timely material delivery.
- Monitor procurement schedules, supplier performance, and project material requirements.
- Manage import/export procedures, international logistics, and customs clearance when required.
- Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with project requirements, budgets, and company policies.
- Develop and maintain local supplier networks for construction materials, hardware, and electromechanical equipment.
Qualifications
Qualification:
1. Bachelor's degree or above in Logistics Management, Engineering Management, or Civil Engineering or related majors;
2. 3 years of experience in project material procurement (priority given to those with bridge construction experience), project management experience, and international logistics or customs clearance experience;
3. Familiar with international trade terms and proficient in drafting procurement contracts;
4. Familiar with engineering materials as well as local resources related to building materials, hardware, and electromechanics;
5.Familiar with international trade terms and able to draft procurement contracts.
