Responsibilities
AXONS is looking for a Product Owner Manager to lead a team of Product Owners and drive the product direction of our IoT platform — with AI at its core.
This role goes well beyond managing a backlog. You will:
• Set AIoT product strategy at the portfolio level
• Develop and grow a team of Product Owners as direct reports
• Translate complex IoT and AI capabilities into tangible business value for enterprise customers
What You Will Do
Lead and Develop the PO Team
• Manage 2 Product Owners as direct reports
• Set and govern team-wide PO standards — PBI quality, Definition of Ready/Done, and Agile ceremony effectiveness
• Actively coach each PO to grow their craft and close skill gaps through structured development plans
• Act as escalation point for cross-functional blockers and cross-squad dependencies
Own the IoT + AI Product Strategy
• Hold end-to-end ownership of the AXONS AIoT roadmap
• Continuously evolve the roadmap based on CSAT, device telemetry or user behavior analytics
Drive Data-Informed Decisions
• Establish and monitor feedback loops using CSAT and product analytics
• Define KPIs tied directly to client outcomes — device uptime, time-to-value, adoption rates
• Present data-driven impact narratives and ROI frameworks to senior leadership
Manage Stakeholders and Go-to-Market
• Develop stakeholder engagement plans for key enterprise accounts and facilitate executive buy-in
• Partner with commercial team to shape Go-to-Market strategies for AIoT product launches
Qualifications
• 5+ years in product management or product ownership
• 2+ years managing direct reports in a B2B software environment
• Proven experience owning roadmaps for IoT, industrial, or data-intensive platforms
• Ability to define technical requirements across hardware-software boundaries
• Ability to translate AI and ML capabilities into product features for non-technical stakeholders
• Strong command of Agile delivery — backlog management, sprint ceremonies, high-quality PBI writing
