Responsibilities
We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Inside Sales & Sales Support Intern to join our logistics team. This internship offers hands-on experience in commercial freight forwarding and client relationship support. This is a fantastic opportunity to understand the end-to-end supply chain, sales operations, and build a strong foundation for a career in international logistics.
Key Responsibilities (What you will do)
- Assist the sales team in requesting freight rates from carriers/vendors and preparing accurate quotations for clients.
- Coordinate with internal operations, Customer Service, and external partners (Airlines, Shipping Lines, Trucking Vendors) to ensure seamless booking and handover processes.
- Act as a key point of contact for routine customer inquiries, providing shipment status updates, and assisting with customer onboarding.
- Maintain accurate client databases, record sales activities, and update rate sheets in the internal system.
- Assist in verifying shipping documents, preparing preliminary billing details, and ensuring all sales-related documentation is complete and organized.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Good command of English (both written and spoken) for professional email correspondence and client interaction.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail, proactive attitude, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset.
