Responsibilities
- Open operational jobs in the ABS system upon receiving booking confirmations and issue trucking orders.
- Prepare customs export entries, Certificate of Origin (Form D, Chamber of Commerce), and legalization documents.
- Handle re-export declarations (Re-export 9/10, Re-export 1/10) and TISI export licenses.
- Coordinate closely with shipping officers and keep customers updated on shipment and customs status.
- Input required operational data into the ABS system to close jobs and pass information to CS Support/Supervisors for customer invoicing.
- Implement and execute work strictly according to Sea Freight Export Shipping procedures.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Business, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of direct experience in customs clearance and sea freight export operations.
- Proficiency in preparing export customs entries, Re-export declarations ($9/10, 1/10$), and TISI export licenses.
- Hands-on experience with logistics operating systems (ABS System experience is a plus).
- ISO 9001 & ISO 14001
- Compliance & Supervisory Skills
- Proficiency in the company's operational computer systems
- Good communication and customer service mindset
