Construction supervisor (Contract) - บีไอจี (บางกอกอินดัสเทรียลแก๊ส)

1.       Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

2.       Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with project requirements, company standards, quality standards, and safety regulations.

3.       Review construction drawings, method statements, work procedures, and technical documents prior to execution.

4.       Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Operations, and Contractors to resolve construction issues and minimize project delays.

5.       Conduct site inspections and verify that construction activities conform to approved designs, specifications, codes, and applicable standards.

6.       Monitor project progress and provide regular reports on construction status, manpower utilization, productivity, and potential risks.

7.       Ensure all required permits, work authorizations, and safety controls are in place before commencement of work.

8.       Identify construction conflicts, technical issues, and field changes, and coordinate appropriate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.

9.       Verify construction quality through inspections, punch list management, testing, and commissioning support activities.

10.  Ensure proper documentation of construction activities, including daily reports, inspection records, as-built drawings, and project close-out documents.

11.  Support project commissioning and start-up activities to ensure successful handover to Operations.

12.  Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE requirements, including toolbox talks, risk assessments, JSEA, and site safety audits.

·        Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Equivalent hands-on construction experience may also be considered.

·        Minimum 5–10 years of construction or site experience, including experience in construction supervision and contractor management.

·        Experience in petrochemical, chemical, industrial gas, power plant, pipeline, or other industrial construction projects is preferred.

·        Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, method statements, and other technical documents.

·        Good knowledge of construction QA/QC, site inspection, testing, punch-list management, and project handover activities.

·        Good understanding of HSE requirements and safe construction practices, including Permit to Work (PTW), Risk Assessment, JSA/JSEA, and Toolbox Talks.

·        Strong leadership, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage contractors and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

·        Able to work independently and be based at project sites as required.

·        Valid driving license and willingness to travel to project sites.
