Responsibilities
Job Summary:
This key role offers the opportunity to directly impact financial stability and global operations, ensuring efficient capital management and strategic risk mitigation for essential raw material procurement. You will also be crucial in providing insightful financial analysis to the leadership.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and optimize the company's cash position, ensuring sufficient liquidity for all operational needs, including significant import payments.
- Manage and oversee the accounting department to make sure smooth operation.
- Develop and implement policies to prevent and mitigate exchange rate and interest rate risks, especially those arising from international raw material transactions.
- Lead and provide guidelines for all trade finance activities related to import and export, optimizing financial instruments and processes for efficient raw material acquisition.
- Analyze complex financial reports to identify potential risks and uncover strategic financial opportunities, presenting these insights clearly to executives to support informed decision-making.
- Contribute to the development and modernization of financial policies focused on treasury, cash flow, and payment efficiency.
- Provide guidelines for debtor accounts, debt collection, payment policies, and other departments to ensure healthy cash inflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in treasury management, with a strong emphasis on cash flow management and international trade finance, particularly import operations.
- Solid understanding of financial markets, foreign exchange, and interest rate risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and communicate complex financial information effectively to senior management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- CPD (Continuing Professional Development) is preferred.
