Responsibilities

Job Purpose:
This leadership role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all production and maintenance operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and integrated teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the entire production operations to meet targets in terms of quality, quantity, and cost, with a strong focus on production optimization.
- Control and manage production costs, including Factory Overhead, to ensure efficient resource utilization. Manage capital expenditures (Capex) in accordance with the master plan, closely monitoring implementation and results.
- Direct and coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering departments to ensure continuous, efficient, and reliable production processes. This includes overseeing managers for Engineering & Maintenance, TPM & Planning, Electrical & Instrumentation, Civil Engineering, and Packaging Maintenance.
- Plan and manage large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with defined objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Develop workforce strategies to build a capable team that supports business growth. Oversee approximately 140 technical staff, including managers and supervisors across various production and maintenance departments.
- Supervise shift work and 24-hour production operations to ensure continuity and emergency readiness. Promote a performance-oriented, efficient, and safety-driven workplace culture, ensuring alignment with HSE policies.
- Actively contribute to transforming the organizational culture from a siloed approach to a more integrated and collaborative working environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related fields.
- Familiar with the heavy industries manufacturing (e.g. sugar, mining, gypsum, fertilizer, animal feed, crop nutrition, pesticides, etc.) is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in production/manufacturing management, with a preference for continuous manufacturing environments.
- At least 7 years in a managerial role overseeing production teams, with experience managing teams of 100-200 people.
- Knowledge of Lean/Kaizen principles is an advantage.
- Ability to work on shifts and during holidays as required, and adaptable to non-traditional weekend schedules.
- Capable of working under time constraints and high-pressure situations.
