Responsibilities
• Developed mechanical components and systems for commercial dishwashers, adapting designs for Asia-Pacific markets.
• Supported cost reduction and value engineering initiatives, optimizing designs for performance and manufacturability.
• Created detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks.
• Built prototypes and conducted verification testing to ensure design reliability.
• Prepared technical documentation and BOMs for production.
• Collaborated with suppliers, production teams, and global R&D, including Germany-based teams.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
• Several years of experience in product development
• Skilled in designing plastic injection molded and sheet metal components, optimizing for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
• Proficient in SolidWorks; experienced with CAE tools (FEA, CFD) to validate designs and improve product reliability.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; consistently delivers structured, solution-oriented results.
• Good English skills, both spoken and written
• Willingness to travel occasionally, including to Germany
