Responsibilities
• Lead new product development projects from design to production launch.
• Develop innovative products that meet customer and market requirements.
• Drive product localization and cost reduction initiatives.
• Manage product design, engineering calculations, and technical documentation.
• Review and approve engineering drawings and specifications.
• Conduct design verification, validation, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee product testing and validation activities.
• Analyze test results and implement design improvements.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing to improve product quality and manufacturability.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones.
• Lead, coach, and develop the R&D and Engineering team.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mechanical, Automotive, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Product Development, Engineering, or R&D within manufacturing industries.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience leading engineering or R&D teams.
• Strong knowledge of wheel rim design, steel structures, welding, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, Inventor, or AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of DFMEA, APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, and product validation processes.
• Familiarity with FEA and engineering simulation tools is an advantage.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
