Responsibilities
- Manage supplier interactions for both international and local partners, starting from greenfield projects.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery capabilities, and sustainable practices.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to enhance performance and foster innovation.
- Negotiate supplier contracts to secure advantageous terms while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare and manage procurement budgets, including cost forecasting and tracking for materials and services.
- Identify supply chain risks and develop strategies to mitigate their impact on manufacturing operations.
- Generate regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and market conditions.
- Utilize data analytics to refine procurement strategies and support decision-making.
- Possess knowledge of import, customs clearance procedures, and tax structures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
- Over 7 years of proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, ideally within the manufacturing sector and/or involving greenfield projects.
- Proficiency with SAP, ISO standards, and supplier audits.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Fluent in both Thai and English, with superior verbal and written communication skills.
