Responsibility and duties:

• Position Overview: As the Senior Sourcing Engineer of Plymovent Manufacturing Co., Ltd you are a key member within the sourcing team, responsible for sourcing new or alternative suppliers/ products, maintaining better or comparable quality and services. In this role you will lead and take ownership of complex projects/product groups and communicate all relevant information to stakeholders inside and outside of the company. The day to day duties will contain, but not be limited to, the following tasks:
• • Source new or alternative supplier/products with competitive price, while maintaining better or comparable quality and services.
• • Prepare and negotiate contracts with selected suppliers.
• • Build strong relationships and evaluate supplier performance for continuous improvement by supplier audits and supplier visits.
• • Act as the link between engineering, operation, quality and suppliers to interpret drawings, validate parts and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• • Drive cost-saving initiatives, analyse price fluctuations and negotiate agreements.
• • Acting as the main liaison for supplier escalations.
• • Send purchase orders for samples and tooling and monitor the order status.
• • Maintain accurate supplier data in ERP system (SAP)
