Responsibilities
The day to day duties will contain, but not be limited to, the following tasks:
Shipping
- Manage import, export and local shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and competitive freight costs.
- Coordinate shipment plan with Production Support, Production, Quality, Packing and customers.
- Verify shipping documents, ERP records, import documents and customs entries for clearance, including tariff codes and applicable BOI privileges.
- Compare freight quotations, manage forwarders and Customs brokers, and propose freight options.
- Supervise and support the shipping and packaging team, resolve problems and provide weekly shipment and container plans.
- Provide accurate shipment information to internal and external stake holders.
- Keep accurate records and report any irregularities.
BOI
- Manage daily BOI work, including material indices, formulas, stock cutting, returns and Report-V.
- Maintain BOI privileges, maximum stock, records, reconciliations and required auditor reports, working with Finance when needed.
- Coordinate with BOI and Customs authorities, ensuring correct submissions and deadlines.
- Report BOI progress and compliance issues and raise them to management.
- Work directly with the Managing Director on BOI matters, including new projects, applications, amendments and expansions.
Qualifications
- Good command in speaking, reading and writing of English language.
- Good skills in SAP or similar ERP software, Excel and electronic record keeping.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least five years of Thailand import/export and BOI experience with team supervision preferred.
- Has high standards of honesty, confidentiality, accuracy and compliance.
- Fluent Thai and good English, with strong organization, integrity and attention to detail.
