Responsibilities
• Sourcing, making price comparisons and negotiating with suppliers to support Business Development, Project Execution and Solutions Business teams.
• Expediting, handling logistics work, consolidating shipments and coordinating with a freight forwarder until equipment and services are delivered to site.
• Liaising with the Accounting team concerning POs and payments.
• Preparing a procurement plan report for project execution and updating data.
• Identifying and implementing cost savings opportunities with various stakeholders.
• Performing PO closures including back charges and various claims
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in procurement in renewable energy is preferable.
• Excellent command of English would be advantage.
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work & perform in a demanding / pressurized working environment
• Good people skills.
