Technical & Engineer Manager - บริษัท เบอร์นิน่า (ไทยแลนด์) จำกัด

    We are looking for a professional candidate who has proven experience in leading Technical & Engineering team.

Job summary: The successful candidate will lead and direct the technical department with the focus on the Engineering responsibilities, such as designing, developing and improving the processes used to produce parts and products. Your goal is to ensure that parts (& products) are manufactured efficiently, cost-effectively, and meet all quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

In your role,

• You collaborate with other departments to improve products, enhance productivity, reduce costs, and ensure quality.

• Key responsibilities involve managing process optimization, selection and industrialization of make parts for new products,     equipment evaluation and implementation, product audits and continuous improvement projects. This leadership role     requires a service mindset with strong technical, process and team-building skills.

• A close collaboration and regular exchange with our technical departments in Switzerland to assist the development of key     components for BERNINA products is key for this role.

• In addition, the technical department is responsible for the Facility management of the Bernina Thailand (BT) plant including     the maintenance of buildings, equipment and machines.

• The Manager of the Engineering and Technical Department provides leadership to more than 20 staff in the department,     reports directly to the Managing Director, BERNINA Thailand and is a member of the Management team of BERNINA     Thailand.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering)
• 5–10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment involving high-precision parts produced by CAD/CAM     applications.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role within a multinational organization.
• Proven track record in managing projects and achieving measurable process improvements
• Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
• Proficient in engineering software tools such as CAD/CAM, ERP, and FMEA systems
• Strong background in manufacturing high-precision components using CAD/CAM technologies
• killed in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ISO 14405 and ISO 5459:2011 standards
• Knowledgeable in material specifications, mechanical properties, and identification systems (per EN 10027-2)
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use data to solve complex problems and guide decisions
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
