Responsibilities

1. Analyze and optimize industrial or business processes using automation solutions.
2. Design, implement, solving problem and maintain PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems.
3. Develop and integrate automation software with existing systems.
4. Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
5. Ensure automation solutions meet safety and compliance standards.
6. Collaborate with Maintenance team, software developers, and clients to deliver tailored solutions.
7. Provide technical support and training on automation systems.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Automation Engineering, Control Engineering or related field
2. 0-3 years' experience in a similar industry with field automation, control systems, Automation network, (if any,) shall be appreciated.
3. Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Modicon, Mitsubishi, etc.).
4. Experience with SCADA, DCS, and HMI systems.
5. Understand of networking (Modbus, OPC, TCPIP etc.)
6. Have knowledge of Micro Controller and able to apply digital techniques.
7. Have Microsoft Office advance skill
8. Understand and read electrical drawings well
9. Have basic knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics
10. Good command in English (in speaking, writing and reading) submission of TOEIC / TOEFL score
11. Good interpersonal skills, good analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and negotiation skills

Working location: POSCO-Thainox Public Co.,Ltd.
Rayong Plant: 324 Moo 8, Highway No. 3191Rd. Mabkha, Nikhompattana, Rayong

Working hours: Monday – Friday (08.00 – 17.00)

In this Automation & Instrument Engineer role, you will contribute to analyzing and optimizing industrial processes using automation solutions. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems, as well as developing and integrating automation software with existing setups. Your duties will also include conducting system testing, troubleshooting, and performance analysis to ensure automation solutions meet specified safety standards. You will collaborate with maintenance teams and software developers to deliver tailored solutions, while also providing technical support and training on automation systems.
