Key Responsibilities
ㆍOperational Leadership: Direct daily logistics and freight forwarding operations,

managing workflows across land transportation, rail-integrated hubs, and cross-border

shipments.

ㆍProcess & SOP Management: Develop, implement, and refine Standard Operating

Procedures (SOPs) for complex operational tasks, including multi-gateway customs

clearance, temporary import/re-export, and cross-border handoffs.

ㆍ Team Management & KPIs: Lead, mentor, and evaluate operational staff (including

transport coordinators, shipping clerks, and warehouse personnel). Establish clear KPI

tracking frameworks, conduct performance reviews, and execute transition training

plans.

ㆍCross-Department Coordination: Collaborate closely with Sales and Customer Service

for seamless client onboarding, and align with Finance & Accounting to ensure accurate

job costing, profit-sharing reconciliations, and timely billing.

ㆍVendor & Asset Optimization: Manage relationships and negotiate rates with third-party

transport providers, handling agents, and sub-contractors to maximize profit margins

and operational efficiency.

ㆍ Regulatory & Safety Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere strictly to local transport

laws, customs regulations, Special Economic Zone (SEZ) / Free Zone guidelines, and

internal health and safety standards.

Issue Resolution: Act as the primary escalation point for critical operational

bottlenecks, severe customs delays, or transport incidents, implementing fast and

effective contingency plans.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education & Experience:

ㆍBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or

a related field.

ㆍ 5-7+ years of progressive experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain

operations, with at least 2-3 years in a management or team leadership role.

Core Skills:

Industry Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of multi-modal freight operations, cross-

border clearance protocols, and warehouse/container yard management.

ㆍ Leadership & Coaching: Proven ability to build operational charts, define job roles, and

manage team performance through structured metrics.

ㆍ Analytical Problem Solving: Strong cability to analyze operational expenditures

(OPEX), evaluate route efficiencies, and resolve complex supply chain disruptions.

ㆍCommunication: High professional fluency in Lao, Thai, and English to effectively

coordinate with regional headquarters, international agents, and diverse internal

teams.

ㆍ Systems Proficiency: Experience working with enterprise ERP systems (such as Odoo,

SAP, or Sysfreight).
