Role summary: 

The Process Engineer is responsible for the development, optimization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to ensure consistent product quality, reduction of waste, and operational efficiency. The role supports the achievement of optimum production output under safe working conditions while identifying opportunities for product and process improvements. The position also focuses on continuous employee training, cost reduction initiatives, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key responsibilities and activities include, but is not limited to

• Regularly review production line capabilities, production efficiency, and production capacity through process improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to support and implement process improvement activities.
• Monitor the achievement of Process Key Figures (PKFs) against budget and operational targets.
• Support initiatives to improve product quality, operational reliability, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of process design and simulation using AutoCAD, MATLAB, Aspen Plus, or equivalent software.
• Ability to analyze and improve production processes and equipment performance.
• Basic communication skills in English and Japanese.
