Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and develop daily client samples with strong focus on speed, consistency, and presentation
• Support development of new recipes, products, and decoration concepts
• Conduct formulation trials and optimize products for quality, cost, and scalability
• Participate in testing of new equipment and production processes
• Support scale-up from lab to factory production
• Collaborate with sales, production, QA, and purchasing teams
• Maintain formulations, specifications, and R&D documentation
• Ensure compliance with food safety and export market requirements
• Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement projects
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Sciences, Food Technology, Bakery, Confectionery, or related field
• 1–4 years’ experience in food R&D, NPD, bakery, confectionery, or chocolate industry
• Basic knowledge of food formulation and processing
• Hands-on, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Good command of English and Microsoft Office
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
• Experience in confectionery, sugar, marshmallow, or chocolate products preferred
• Creative mindset with interest in food decoration and innovation
• Interest in industrial equipment and process optimization is a plus
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, or FSSC 22000 standards
• Positive, proactive, and able to work in a small, agile company environment
