Responsibilities
Purpose of the position
- Key contact person for customer, supplier, transport company and freight forwarder.
- To control warehouse operation according to customer’s requirement.
- Process improvement implementation.
Key Tasks
- Render full customer service to logistics clients. Communicate well to ensure their requirements are met
- Coordinate incoming shipments with AI/OI departments
- Ensure full compliance with regulations and SOP
- Monitor inspection and receiving for inbound cargo, manage irregularities (e.g. discrepancies)
- Coordinate with subcontractor for all stock checks and regular cycle counts, update stock/cycle count results to customer
- Coordinate picking & packing with subcontractor
- Coordinate outbound shipping with subcontractor
- Schedule domestics distribution services in line with standard service levels
- Monitoring and controlling Delivery Orders. DO’s should be forwarded to customers within 24 hours of delivery of goods
- Become cross trained on all customers' requirements so as you may be a back up in case of absence etc.
- Support Marketing & Sales team with technical expertise & sales tools
- Handle additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of customer requirements in terms of information flow, transportation, warehousing and inventory management
- Good knowledge of warehousing operations
- Solid customer service competence
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Effective business administration competence
- Perform other duties as assigned by superior
- I.T. literacy: MS Office
