Role Overview

KART ASIA is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Operations Manager to manage strategic on our operations team and lead the department of the Customer Service, Forwarding and Transportation Department. This role serves as the key operational contact between customers and internal business units, ensuring efficient coordination and smooth execution across our China–ASEAN cross-border trucking network.

The position plays a critical role in maintaining service excellence, resolving operational challenges, and strengthening long-term customer relationships within the regional logistics network.

Key Responsibilities

Senior Operations Manager

Act as the primary point of contact for assigned Senior Operations Manager, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring prompt responses to operational inquiries and urgent requests.

Operational Coordination

Coordinate closely with internal departments including Operations, Transportation, and Customs teams to ensure smooth daily shipment execution across cross-border trucking services.

Team Leadership

Lead, supervise, and coach the Customer Service team to maintain high service standards and ensure compliance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Shipment Monitoring & Issue Resolution

Monitor daily shipment status and delivery performance, proactively identifying operational issues and implementing timely solutions to minimize service disruptions.

Reporting & Performance Analysis

Prepare daily operational reports, monthly billing summaries, and performance analyses for management and key customers to support operational transparency and service improvements.

Process Improvement

Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows and support the development of standardized procedures across the regional logistics network.

• Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of experience in logistics / freight forwarding or Road Transportation, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of cross-border trucking operations, road transportation processes, and international shipping documentation.
• Communication Skills: Excellent coordination and communication skills with a strong command of English. Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred to support regional coordination with China partners.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and resolve complex operational challenges independently.
• Availability: Flexible to respond to urgent operational situations and provide support outside standard office hours when necessary, maintaining a customer-focused service mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields
