Responsibilities
- Audit and evaluate the quality management systems of new and existing suppliers
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve quality issues related to delivered components
- Analyze root causes of quality problems and track the implementation of corrective actions
- Develop suppliers to continuously improve their quality performance
- Prepare supplier quality audit reports and summarize performance outcomes
- Participate in meetings with purchasing and production teams to discuss supplier quality concerns
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical) or a related field
- 3-8 years of experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) or Quality Engineer
- Understanding of quality management systems such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949
- Proficiency in quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, PPAP, APQP
- Strong analytical and systematic problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with external parties
- Previous experience in the automotive or electronics industry is a plus.
