A Supply Chain Officer is needed to supervise, maintain and monitor inventory of equipment, parts, tools and supplies. Oversee the purchasing and logistics processes, and facilitate the coordination and communication between the Company’s support functions.
Key responsibilities:
• Keep sufficient stock of raw materials to align with production demands.
• Oversee daily stock movements, and update records.
• Collate weekly stock movements and report to management.
• Oversee monthly stock takes.
• Maintain and update records of all products in the inventory database to ensure the information held is correct.
• Establish effective trace ability systems so as to trace and identify any products out of specification.
• Carry out cost-benefit analysis to improve efficiencies.
• Support our products are manufactured in a correct, cost effective and timely manner.
• Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures.
• Maintain an accurate database of suppliers.
