• The primary objective will be performed to develop and implement Health & Safety policy, standards, guidance, and Health & Safety management systems to meet company policy and core value
Responsibilities
• Provide safety & EHS support to all employee by maintaining a visible presence to the factory and visits to the entire area at least once per shift, if possible coordinate with head of department
• Assist in the coaching, mentoring and implementation of the EHS programs in the field.
• Provide a plan to use personal protective equipment (PPE) for employees.
• Regularly review and be familiar with all applicable legislation and applicable standards, to ensure compliance.
• Inform the project management team and supervision of any new or conflict legislative matters that could impact the factory.
• Develop a Site Safety Management Plan (SMP) for the project to ensure a safe work environment for all company employees, contractors, visitors and community.
• Regularly audit the SMP for compliance and update to ensure the alignment with project scope and conditions.
• Organize and schedule required safety staff and first aid coverage.
• Provide direction, support and resource to all managers, supervisors, leader and safety person.
• Ensure that all incidents are reported immediately.
• Participate and assist the supervisors, foreman and safety advisers in the investigation of incidents to determine root cause, and corrective actions where necessary.
• Ensure incident corrective actions are followed up on and completed.
• Ensure Safety person are verifying the training and competencies; consult the project management team and Safety Manager for compliance and action plan.
• Ensure safety boards with postings including but not limited to: Health and safety policy inspection and audit results, project hazard assessment, location of first aid, etc. are maintained and current.
• Overall strategic development, planning, co-ordination and implementation of all safety and driver programs, systems, policies and procedures.
• Prepare for, and participate in audits such as ISO and/or Owner audits.
• Communicate, coach and assist the field staff to ensure that all safety expectations are understood and met
• Bachelor's degree or Higher in Occupation Health and Safety, Safety Engineer or any related field
• Age between 35years up
• At least 5 years' experience in the management Safety Control functions, background in hardware manufacturing with medium factory size above.
• Knowledge of ISO & EHS
• Fair English communication is preferred
• Knowledge of electronic health and safety management tools
• Ability to produce reports and developing relevant policies
• Ability to work autonomously as required, and set own diary/schedules
