Installation Manager (Signalling Railway)

Coordinate risk management workshops/Installation Risk and rail safety reviews.
- To perform the post installation check out before the start of testing activity and cooperate with Manager
Preparation of test documentation, perform and participate to test activities at Functional and or Tester in Charge / Principles tester level
- Prepare Test & Commissioning plans,Report non conformities and test logs to the team
- Ensuring that construction standards with regards to safety, reliability and quality are maintained in accordance with client objectives.
- Verification of the consistency of the Method Statement with its input documents.
- In charged for developing all the relevant testing documents for released submission, scheduling and performing all the site test activities of their own subsystems work package, and reporting daily work progress
- Bachelor degree, Master degree qualifications in Engineering, (Signalling) or equivalent related industry experience.
- Experience in railway research and development initiatives an advantage.
- Experience in Signalling Design, Maintenance and/or Testing & Commissioning.
- Leadership and team building skills - This is mainly with sub-contractors.
- Ability to organize and co-ordinate a diverse variety of functions and possess evaluative and decision-making skills of a high order.
- Well-developed written and oral communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Negotiating skills and ability to negotiate commercially on contractual matters.
- Highly self-motivated.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to achieve the project outcomes.
- Very good communication in English with writing and reading.
- Ensuring that the signalling designs produced to conform to quality systems, client requirements, and standards.
To be considered, you will have the following;
- Experience in project delivery and/or engineering works, preferably in a rail environment.
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders to achieve client satisfaction.
- Experience in providing (relevant discipline) engineering support including functional specification development, design coordination, safety in design, constructability reviews, testing and commissioning and applying engineering quality.
- Experience in project management support, such as developing estimates, preparing schedules, managing budgets and cost, planning resources, project controls and status reporting and managing quality.
- A successful background in managing risk and safety performance in compliance with safety legislation, rules and procedures.
