JERA Power (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (“JERA-PT”) is 100% subsidiary company of JERA Power Co., Inc. (“JERA”) which was jointly established by two large electric power utilities in Japan, Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. and Tokyo Electric Power Co., Inc. The business of JERA covers the entire energy supply chain from upstream investments and fuel procurement through power generation worldwide. Chubu Electric Power (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (former name of JERA-PT) was established in 2003 and changed its name to JERA-PT as of July 1st, 2016. JERA-PT is currently providing O&M services for 1400 MW IPP - Ratchaburi power plant (JERA 15%) and 20 MW SPP - rice husk-fired power plant in Pichit (JERA 34%) also providing Engineering services for two JERA’s associated SPP projects in Lat Krabang Industrial Estate (JERA 23.8%) and Bangpoo Industrial Estate (JERA 19%) and another two SPP projects. in Pathumtani and Ratchaburi provinces.
Now, JERA-PT is serving as a regional hub of JERA for expanding power businesses not only in Thailand and but also its neighboring countries. JERA-PT enhances the employees for engineering and management skills working throughout the project with exclusive high skill members from Japan and Thailand which will create the human network in the power generation business field more professional.
