Thai Institute of Directors Association

The Thai Institute of Directors Association (IOD) is a leading organization dedicates to improving corporate governance in Thailand. The IOD was founded in 1999 with support from the Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission, The Stock Exchange of Thailand, The Bank of Thailand, the Foundation for Capital Market Development and the World Bank. The Thai IOD is one among fifty institutes of director estabished around the world to date. We are a membership organization with members comprise of board directors from companies ranging from large SET listed companies to small private firms. Our key activities include providing directors certification and professional development courses, conducting research on board governance issues and practices, as well as organizing a variety of seminars, forums and networking events.
