QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
(1) Education: Completion of secondary school is required. Completion of vocational training program from an accredited institute recognized as producing journeyman level plumbers and mechanical system specialist trained in the maintenance of commercial or industrial buildings/facilities is required. Training through a recognized apprenticeship program provided by a trade union is considered acceptable.

(2) Experience: The incumbent reports to the Supervisory Building Engineer. The incumbent is employed as a journeyman level Maintenance Mechanic - Plumber to carry out skilled maintenance and repair work on the critical and non-critical mechanical and plumbing systems throughout the New Consulate Compound (NCC) functional/office buildings, on-compound ancillary support and residential buildings, above and below ground infrastructures, recreational facilities, and other owned/leased properties.

(3) Language: (This maybe tested.)
• Good working knowledge (Reading/Writing/Speaking) of Thai is required.
• Limited knowledge (Reading/Writing/Speaking) of English is required. You can submit a copy of valid TOEIC score (Listening and Reading Section) of at least 400, or pass the English Placement Test (EPT) that is conducted by the Human Resources Office.
(4) Skills: (This maybe tested.)
• The incumbent shall have the skills and abilities in the following areas: diagnosing and repairing filtration systems, water pumps, hot and cold water systems; testing potable water system components, monitoring of chemical and salt injection systems, and taking equipment readings with various meters; use of hand tools, power tools, and specialty tools to determine appropriate repairs. มีทักษะและความสามารถในการวินิจฉัยและซ่อมแซมระบบกรอง ปั๊มน้ำ ระบบน้ำร้อนและน้ำเย็น การทดสอบส่วนประกอบของระบบน้ำดื่ม การควบคุมระบบฉีดสารเคมีและเกลือ การอ่านค่าอุปกรณ์ด้วยมิเตอร์ต่างๆ การใช้เครื่องมือช่าง เครื่องมือไฟฟ้า และเครื่องมือพิเศษเพื่อการซ่อมแซมที่เหมาะสม

• Must have a valid, current local driver’s license is required. Incumbent must be at least 25 years old and have been holding the a driver's license for a minimum of five years is required.
