Maintenance Manager

• Monitor machine and system performance to reduce unplanned downtime and identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare reports, analyze data, and recommend corrective actions.
• Track and improve key maintenance KPIs such as utilization, maintenance cost, and PM compliance.
• Responsible for monthly downtime and scrap reporting.

• Plan, assign, and supervise maintenance technicians.
• Maintain and update operation and training manuals.
• Ensure repair work is completed on schedule.
• Support and guide technicians in troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Inspect and verify the quality of all maintenance work.

• Develop and manage plant-wide Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs.
• Evaluate PM performance and drive continuous improvement activities (Kaizen / CI).
• Lead reliability improvement initiatives for equipment and processes.
• Monitor spare parts usage and initiate purchasing when required.
• Prepare capital expenditure plans and perform cost analysis for projects.

• Work with the Safety team to implement and audit safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Promote and support strong safety culture within the department.

• Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Oversee internal and external projects to ensure timely completion.
• Support plant improvement and expansion projects.
• Manage external contractors and respond to emergency situations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in maintenance management.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in preventive maintenance, mechanical/electrical systems, or utilities.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Strong knowledge of preventive/corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and utility systems.
• Familiar with ISO standards, TPM, and factory safety requirements.
• Experience in budgeting and cost control.
• Able to read mechanical/electrical drawings and use maintenance software.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Special Skills Required

• Expertise in CNC/machining, electrical/electronic systems, PLC programming, safety awareness, test equipment, schematics, mechanics, blueprint reading, measurement techniques, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Knowledge of machine shop equipment (lathes, mills, presses, welding machines).
• Strong understanding of pneumatic & hydraulic systems and electrical technology.
• Knowledge of relay logic, ladder diagrams, PLCs, and AC/DC power circuits.
• Practical experience with pumps, valves, motors, gearboxes, and PLC-related maintenance.

Communication & Coordination Skills

• Strong communication skills with ability to adjust style for all organizational levels.
• Coordinate directly with Production for maintenance and repair activities.
• Communicate with QA to ensure technicians follow QA policies and procedures.
• Maintain consistent communication with maintenance technicians individually and as a team to ensure effective two-way communication regarding maintenance issues.
