Responsibilities

System Infrastructure Management

Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the SIIT's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and cloud solutions.
Ensure optimal system performance, reliability, and scalability.
Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

Network Administration

Manage and maintain the Institute’s wired and wireless network systems to ensure seamless connectivity.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement security measures.
Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions as needed.

Application Management

Oversee the deployment, integration, and maintenance of software applications used across the Institute.
Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to understand their IT application needs and deliver solutions.
Ensure application security, compliance, and alignment with Institute goals.
Audiovisual Technology
Manage and support AV equipment and systems for classrooms, lecture halls, and events.
Oversee the setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of AV systems, including projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools.
Ensure AV technology enhances the learning and event experience.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the Institute to align IT services with institutional priorities.
Provide technical support and training to faculty, staff, and students.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
At least 5 years of progressive experience in IT system management, including infrastructure, network, application, and/or Audio Visual (AV) technologies.
Demonstrated leadership experience in managing IT teams and projects.
Proficiency in managing IT infrastructure, including servers, virtualization, storage, and cloud environments.
Strong understanding of network technologies, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless systems.
Knowledge of AV systems, including video conferencing, projectors, and sound systems.
Familiarity with IT security protocols, compliance standards, and disaster recovery planning.
