Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Prepare and handle company registration matters such as incorporation, amendments of company objectives, directors, registered capital, and office address with the Department of Business Development.
Liaise and coordinate with external government agencies, including the Department of Business Development, Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, Revenue Department, and other relevant authorities.
Provide legal advice and consultation to internal departments to ensure business operations comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Draft, review, and verify contracts, legal documents, and powers of attorney for the company.
Act as the company’s authorized representative in criminal cases or other legal proceedings as assigned.
Manage and monitor legal processes, litigation, and case progress in coordination with external lawyers.
Research and keep updated with new laws, rules, and regulations that may impact the company’s business operations.
Perform other legal or administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law.
Possession of a lawyer license (Barrister-at-Law or Attorney License) will be an advantage.
Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate legal work, company registration, or liaison with government authorities.
Strong knowledge of civil and commercial law, labor law, and company law.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and documentation skills.
Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality of company information.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic legal research.
