Your role in MOSS Energy:
- Part of a growing techno-commercial team providing technical solutions to potential clients as part of tendering for solar projects in Thailand
- Read, understand and summarize technical tender specifications
- Use PV Design and drafting knowledge to produce high quality preliminary designs as part of technical proposals for rooftop, floating and ground mount commercial solar systems
- Create drawings in AutoCAD (plan solar PV layouts and electrical schematics - SLDs)
- Derive construction costs and produce BOQs (bill of quantities) for our submissions
- Perform detailed energy output simulations in PVSyst, Helioscope, Homer
- Conduct site visits nationally and retrieve technical information from customers and their site/s
- Collaborate internally and externally with engineers and suppliers to design the best solutions for our clients
- Proactively improve or propose new templates and tools to increase productivity
- Manage and update all AutoCAD templates, tool palettes and dynamic blocks
- Present concise and relevant summaries to high level stakeholders
- Ensure opportunities are updated on our internal CRM
Skills you would bring to MOSS Energy:
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Engineering
- Renewable Energy, Solar, Electrical or Civil Engineering Qualifications
- Solid technical knowledge of the Solar PV industry
- 3 -5 years’ experience in solar projects
- All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English.
- Ability to work to reasonably strict timeliness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Great people skills
- Flexible schedule and willingness to travel
- Familiarity with permitting and licensing process is a plus
- Any experience with designing battery is a strong plus
