Accounting Responsibilities
Oversee the company’s accounting system to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards (TFRS / IFRS).
Review and approve monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure timely and accurate financial closing and reporting.
Supervise statutory audits and coordinate with external auditors.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including corporate income tax, VAT, and withholding tax.
Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Monitor accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
Finance Responsibilities
Develop and manage the company’s financial strategy and long-term financial planning.
Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital.
Prepare and control annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to management.
Manage financial risks, including credit risk, currency risk, and interest rate risk.
Oversee funding strategies, banking relationships, and loan facilities.
Evaluate investment opportunities, capital expenditures, and business expansion projects.
Support strategic decision-making, mergers, acquisitions, and business growth initiatives.
Leadership & Management
Lead and develop the accounting and finance teams.
Establish financial policies, procedures, and best practices.
Provide financial insights and reports to senior management and the Board of Directors.
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
-Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA are highly preferred.
-Proven experience in senior financial management or executive-level finance roles.
-Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS / TFRS) and financial regulations.
-Extensive experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
-Solid understanding of taxation, auditing, and internal control systems.
-Excellent financial analysis, financial modeling, and strategic planning skills.
-Experience in managing banking relationships, loans, and funding facilities.
-Strong leadership and people management skills.
-Excellent communication and presentation skills.
-Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
-High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
-Strong business acumen and decision-making skills.
-Experience in risk management and corporate governance.
-Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software.
