**Position Overview:**
The Pre-Sales Engineer for Security Systems is responsible for supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise and solutions to potential clients. This role involves understanding customer requirements, designing tailored security solutions, and presenting these solutions to clients in a clear and compelling manner. The Pre-Sales Engineer will work closely with the sales, product management, and technical teams to ensure that the proposed solutions meet the client's needs and are feasible to implement.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Technical Consultation:**
- Engage with potential clients to understand their security needs, challenges, and objectives.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather relevant information for solution design.
- Provide technical advice and recommendations on security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, fire alarm systems, and integrated security solutions, IoT.
2. **Solution Design:**
- Develop customized security system proposals that align with client requirements and industry standards.
- Create detailed system designs, including network diagrams, equipment lists, and cost estimates.
- Ensure that proposed solutions are technically feasible, cost-effective, and scalable.
3. **Proposal Development:**
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop compelling value propositions and competitive pricing strategies.
- Respond to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFQs (Request for Quotations) with accurate and timely submissions.
4. **Client Engagement:**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on security solutions.
- Address technical questions and concerns during the sales process, ensuring client confidence in the proposed solution.
- Provide post-sales support by assisting with the transition to the implementation team and addressing any technical issues that arise.
5. **Market and Product Knowledge:**
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the security industry.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s product portfolio and how it can be applied to meet client needs.
- Participate in product training and certifications to enhance technical expertise.
6. **Collaboration:**
- Work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and support the achievement of sales targets.
- Collaborate with the product management team to provide feedback on market needs and product improvements.
- Coordinate with the technical and implementation teams to ensure smooth project handover and execution.
