● Fully own sales targets (volume, value, distribution, and trade-spend ROI) for assigned Modern Trade accounts.
● Build and execute annual account plans and Joint Business Plans (JBPs) aligned to company priorities.
● Drive sustainable growth through distribution expansion, visibility wins, and strong sell-through.
2) Listing, New Product Pitching & Trading Term Negotiation
● Propose new products, categories, and supported launch plans to retail buyers.
● Lead negotiations on GP/margin, listing fees, trading terms, shelf space, promotional funding, and annual agreements to secure win-win outcomes.
● Manage SKU rationalization, discontinue underperformers, and re-allocate space to growth brands.
3) Promotions, Visibility & Activation Management
● Co-develop promotional calendars with retailers and internal marketing/trade marketing teams.
● Coordinate and execute retailer activations including price promotions, bundle offers, secondary placements, and seasonal features.
● Plan and manage sampling and in-store trial activities with retailers, vendors, and internal teams.
● Ensure POSM, visibility tools, and displays are executed to standard and on time.
4) In-Store Execution & Merchandising Control
● Drive perfect store execution: stock availability, planogram compliance, shelving standards, POSM deployment, and promotion activation.
● Conduct regular store visits based on routing plans to solve problems fast and unlock incremental display opportunities (end-caps, brand blocks, cross-category placements).
● Lead and supervise merchandisers/distributors to ensure consistent execution across branches.
5) Performance Tracking & Market Intelligence
● Monitor sell-in/sell-out, inventory levels, OSA, pricing compliance, and competitor activity.
● Identify risks early (OOS, slow movers, price gaps) and take corrective actions in coordination with retailers and internal teams.
● Provide category and shopper insights to support better launches, promos, and pricing decisions.
6) Cross-Functional Coordination
● Work closely with marketing, trade marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure:
○ Accurate forecasting and supply planning
○ Smooth launches and promo rollouts
○ Clean commercial mechanics and claim management
● Maintain accurate account records: listings, contracts, terms, promo agreements, and post-promo evaluation.
7) Startup Flexibility
● Support any brands/categories assigned by management as the portfolio evolves.
● Adapt plans quickly based on retailer dynamics, brand priorities, and performance data.
