Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of marine engineering projects, including vessel maintenance, parts supply and dry-docking refits
2. Manage operational budgets, resource allocation, and procurement of equipment and procurement of Parts, Materials and Consumables
3. Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, classification society requirements, and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards
4. Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices
5. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, logistics and accounts teams to ensure project timelines and goals are met.
6. Lead, train, and evaluate operational & engineering staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
7. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies to maintain strong working relationships and project alignment
8. Respond to operational issues and emergencies with strategic problem-solving and swift action.
9. Creating Quotes, Work Orders, Sign-off Sheets and all other operation paperwork
10. Control and Update Job Status Documents, Works Schedule Calendars and Client Dropbox Files
11. Willingness to travel to shipyards, marinas or international project locations when required to find new clients
