ATLAS IED (THAILAND) CO.,LTD.POSITION SUMMARY
Support the administrative functions and coordination of quality plans and processes for new and existing product lines. Act as the quality and efficiency specialist for enhancements, administration and communication relative to the APQP for OEM and Consumer processes. Ensure compliance with all existing and new requirements for all facilities in regards to Tier 1, Tier 2 and at times Tier 3 auditing of supply factories.. Prepare, plan and lead quality control plans with OEM customers. Assist in conference calls, project reviews P3, PPAP & Mass production meetings as required. Assist in identifying, implementing and sustaining improvement initiatives
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Generate and maintain APQP documentation including new & existing product PPAP documentation, ISO work instructions, process maps, SOP’s, and CAPA’s
- Utilize quality tools to identify root cause, document and implement sustainable solutions. Tools to include 8D, 5 why, fishbone diagrams, histograms, capability studies, Cpk and control charting as well as others.
- Conduct external supplier audits, as well as start to administer the audits, under the guidance of the Director of Global Quality, in the ARAS quality software.
- Responsible for ensuring quality management system documentation and SOP’s are up to date and current. This also will involve ensuring approved documents are distributed to the various MiTek facilities.
- Responsible for the data collection and reporting of quality measurement metrics at various MiTek supplier facilities.
Perform follow up “audits” of implemented Corrective Action/Preventative Actions to ensure that effective actions have been implemented. Will also assist with the investigation of quality issues that arise within the company.
- Responsible for assisting with the development, documentation and product qualifications
- Ability to work more than 40 hours core hours weekly, as required to meet customer and project requirements for conference calls and meetings that cross multiple time zones.
ESSENTIAL TASKS
- Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports.
- Enter and update information into ARAS (Quality Management System).
- Administer approval, audit and documentation process using APQP methods
- Answer phones, support team on conference calls and with presentations as needed
- Maintain core corporate metrics for all facilities within Mitek organization support improvement initiatives

Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Associated Degree or equivalent experience required
APQP training
ISO knowledge
Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
Experience
8 -10 year’s+ manufacturing experience
3 years + APQP
Project management
ISO 9001
Electronics and / or audio experience preferred
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Computer Skills
• Intermediate understanding with all MS Office Software (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook)
• Ability to learn MiTek’s internal systems and other programs as needed.
• Understanding of small package shipping software (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
• PowerPoint and Excel will be required on almost a daily basis
