Industry: Engineering Services (Metallurgical)
Summary:
Responsible for providing professional technical support in steel and metallurgical processes, including machinery and refractory-related systems used in steel manufacturing. The incumbent will support international customers through on-site service, troubleshooting, and project implementation. This position also contributes to product trials, equipment performance evaluation, and continuous improvement of steel melting and production systems.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical consultation and field support related to steel manufacturing, metallurgical equipment, and refractory materials.
• Conduct on-site service for overseas customers, including installation, inspection, and part replacement for melting furnaces, ladles, tundishes, and related systems.
• Plan and monitor daily works involving EAF, ladle, tundish, and slide gate mechanisms to ensure stable operation and quality performance.
• Establish and execute trial plans for new materials or practices, collect and analyze performance data, and prepare detailed reports.
• Supervise and advise local teams to ensure correct installation, maintenance, and safety practices.
• Coordinate closely with customers on technical issues, new projects, and improvement initiatives.
• Prepare technical documentation, including incident reports, trial analyses, and performance presentations for internal and external use.
• Maintain and update work instructions and maintenance plans for metallurgical and refractory systems at customer sites.
• Provide training and guidance to customer personnel and internal engineers to ensure proper operation of steel machinery and refractory systems.
• Ensure efficient inventory and MRP control related to metallurgical and refractory materials.
