• Maintain and continuously monitor the Utility DCS platform for all critical utility systems, including boilers, steam turbines, cooling towers, water treatment plants (WTP/DM), air compressors, and effluent treatment plants (ETP).
• Collect and analyze real-time field data (pressure, temperature, flow, vibration) and effectively communicate observations to the Shift In-charge.
• Ensure optimal performance and efficiency of steam/gas turbines, condensers, feedwater systems, cooling towers, and all auxiliary utility equipment.
• Analyze process data to identify inefficiencies in utility generation and consumption, and implement corrective actions to optimize energy usage.
• Support startups, shutdowns, and emergency handling of utility units as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Troubleshoot DCS-related issues, including control logic, interlocks, and system configurations, coordinating closely with instrumentation and maintenance teams for swift resolution.
• Verify field equipment status during interlocks, trips, or maintenance activities and assist maintenance teams during breakdowns, isolation, and restoration.
• Resolve on-site technical issues promptly, applying strong problem-solving skills.
• Actively encourage the reporting of near misses and drive proactive safety practices.
