• Conduct regular plant rounds and continuously monitor all critical utility systems, including boilers, steam turbines, cooling towers, water treatment plants (WTP/DM), air compressors, and effluent treatment plants (ETP).
• Collect and analyze real-time field data (e.g., pressure, temperature, flow, vibration) and effectively communicate observations and any abnormalities to the Shift In-charge.
• Ensure optimal performance and efficiency of steam/gas turbines, condensers, feedwater systems, cooling towers, and all auxiliary utility equipment.
• Analyze process data from the field to identify inefficiencies in utility generation and consumption, and actively implement corrective actions to optimize energy usage.
• Support and execute startups, shutdowns, and emergency handling of utility units strictly as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Verify field equipment status during interlocks, trips, or maintenance activities.
• Resolve on-site technical issues promptly, applying strong problem-solving skills to ensure operational continuity.
• Assist maintenance teams during equipment breakdowns, isolation, and restoration processes.
