The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing all accounting and financial functions of the company, including financial reporting, tax compliance, cost analysis, and revenue reconciliation. This role requires someone with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to produce timely financial insights that support key business decisions.
You will also be expected to analyze costs per project, prepare cost reports and hot cost updates, and ensure that licensing agreements are properly recorded and reflected in the financial system. This is a strategic and hands-on role suitable for professionals who want to make a meaningful impact in the Thai entertainment industry.
We are currently seeking an experienced and capable Accounting Manager to join our growing team and oversee the company’s end-to-end financial operations.
What You’ll Do:
Accounting & Finance:
- Manage full accounting operations: AR, AP, GL, cash flow, and fixed assets.
- Oversee general ledger entries and ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in compliance with Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS).
- Maintain proper cash flow planning and monthly forecasting.
Tax & Compliance:
- Handle all tax-related submissions (VAT, WHT, CIT, etc.) in a timely and accurate manner.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
- Ensure compliance with Thai accounting laws and internal financial policies.
Cost & Revenue Analysis:
- Analyze project-based costs and prepare cost reports and hot cost summaries.
- Track revenues from cinemas, TV, and streaming platforms; reconcile box office and licensing income.
- Monitor profit margins and cost allocation per title.
- Collaborate with legal and sales teams to ensure financial terms in contracts are reflected accurately.
Internal Control & Strategy:
- Strengthen internal controls and improve financial processes.
- Provide management with timely financial insights and actionable data.
- Participate in annual budgeting and strategic financial planning.
- Support future finance team structure and growth if applicable.
