Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and Qualify Suppliers: Research and evaluate suppliers based on their ability to meet technical requirements, quality standards, and delivery timelines. Manage Forecast and ensure we have ordered enough material.
• Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable service and long-term partnerships
• Supplier Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess supplier performance to ensure consistency in quality, on-time delivery, and compliance with contractual agreements
• Price Negotiation: Negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules to achieve the best value without compromising quality
• Contract Development: Draft and review contracts, specifying terms and conditions, delivery schedules, payment terms, and warranties.
• Risk Management in Contracts: Identify and mitigate risks by including clauses to protect the organization against potential supply disruptions or non-compliance.
• Align with Project Timelines: Work closely with project managers and engineering teams to align procurement activities with project schedules and milestones. Support manufacturing by managing production output and delivering time-critical components to execute on master schedule respond to unanticipated changes in production schedule.
• Budget Tracking: Monitor procurement expenses and ensure costs remain within the project budget
