- Conduct Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) which is an integrated and joined up approach to managing risk across an organization and its extended networks to create understanding, analyzing and addressing risk to make sure people and organizations achieve their objectives.
- Conduct Business Process Management (BPM) in terms of risk assessment which is a systematic approach to identify the risk, help business unit to design mitigation plan or action plan, execute the action plan, monitor the action plan, and continuously improve business processes to achieve strategic organizational goals, enhance efficiency.
- Support the Risk Management Working Team in overseeing the risk management processes across the organization, ensuring consistency and alignment with the company's Risk Management Manual and international standards.
- Advise and facilitate business units and risk owners in identifying, assessing, and analyzing key risks, evaluating mitigation measures, monitoring Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and related risk topics, including maintaining an accurate and up-to-date Risk Register.
- Develop risk control and management strategies to reduce the financial, legal or other impact on the business.
- Evaluate the current risk management processes and determine their effectiveness in a future scenario.
- Ensure that the company meets its legal and regulatory risk requirements.
- Study market trends, and implement the learnings into the risk management processes of the company.
- Prepare risk contingency plans to tackle future risk management issues.
- Assist in monitoring and reviewing risk assessments and mitigation plans of various departments, ensuring adequacy, effectiveness, and alignment with established risk management practices.
- Consolidate and prepare the risk management performance reports for the Risk Management Working Team to regularly present to the Audit and Risk Committee and the Board of Directors.
- Embed a risk management culture throughout the organization, continuously enhancing employees' awareness, knowledge, capability, and accountability in risk management.
- Ensure that the company meets the regulatory risk requirements while implementing the risk management framework.
- Conduct investigations and assessments in detail, to determine a solid risk management plan
- Develop contingency plans to ensure maximum risk control.
- Advise business units on matters related to company’s businesses and operations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
