Responsibilities

Overseas Purchasing: Manage end-to-end international purchasing processes—quotation requests, price negotiations, order placement, and follow-ups with overseas suppliers.
Supplier Coordination: Build and maintain strong relationships with international vendors to ensure product quality, timely delivery, and service excellence.
Import Documentation: Prepare and verify all documentation related to international purchases (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.).
Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal logistics teams to ensure smooth import and shipping operations.
Compliance & Regulations: Ensure adherence to import/export regulations, company procurement policies, and international trade compliance.
Market Research: Monitor global market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain risks; identify new sourcing opportunities.
Reporting & Tracking: Maintain accurate purchase records, supplier performance data, delivery timelines, and cost tracking reports.
Problem Resolution: Address issues related to delays, quality discrepancies, customs holds, or payment matters.
Cross-functional Support: Coordinate with finance, warehouse, and quality control teams to ensure alignment of purchasing activities with operational needs.
General Administrative Support: Translate or interpret documents and conversations as needed (if multilingual) and handle day-to-day general administrative tasks assigned by the management team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in international procurement, supply chain coordination, or global sourcing.
Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
Fluent in English (additional languages, especially Mandarin, are a plus).
Familiarity with Incoterms, international shipping terms, and trade regulations.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Professional attitude, integrity, and a strong sense of accountability.
Willingness to travel internationally if required (5–10% travel may be needed).
Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:20 PM (subject to operational needs).
